Billowy clouds like cotton candy

Strawberry frosting like baby’s skin

Swirly tutus like dancing fairies

The silken threads, the wavy edges

 of the Rhododendron.

  1. Love that description, especially the cotton candy. I immediately thought of frilly lacy dresses. Those flowers are just beautiful. Do they smell good, too?

  2. One thing I miss from Oregon is the gorgeous Rhodies. I remember a lovely Mother’s Day outing some years ago to the Jenkins Estate in Aloha, Oregon. They have soooooo many rhododendrons in bloom at that time. Be-a-u-tiful!!!
